Art Arc
Art Arc is a cultural education programme tied to the basic education and early childhood education of the city of Tampere. Art Arc introduces over 23 000 children and young people annually to art and cultural destinations as observers, experiencers, and always also creators.

For the school year 2024-2025, there are three registration dates:
August 2024: Preschool, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 6th grade, 8th grade
November 2024: 3rd grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, 9th grade
February 2025: Preschool, 4th grade, 5th grade
The Art Arc annual plan for 2024-2025, including schedules, will be delivered to the principals in April 2024. Class teachers will receive information about registration openings via email.
Children’s Gallery
Children’s Gallery showcases artworks by children and young people at Culture House Laikku. You can also discover small art installations around town. For more information, visit the Children’s Gallery website.
These exhibitions are part of an art concept developed by the Cultural Education Program Art Arc (Taidekaari) and the Children’s Culture Center Rulla, which brings children’s and young people’s art into public spaces.
