Tampere regional division on the map

Content on the Tampere.fi website, for example news, has been classified according to the regional division if the content is specifically related to a particular geographical area in Tampere. These regions act as filters for content for users of the site. The regions also serve as filters for regional information in the city newsletter. These regions are also the basis for our regional information web pages.

The regional filters are: centre, south, north, west and east.

You can filter your search results using these regional filters by selecting a region from the Location button. You can also use regional filters to limit news and articles in the news and articles archive.

Once you have used the search in Tampere.fi, regional filters can be found on the search results page via the Location button. Click on the image to see a larger version.

Below you can see the regions on the map. You can use your mouse to zoom in and out and move the map around to see how different places in Tampere are included. Below the map, you will also find lists of the regions contained within different city districts.

Note: Pohjoinen = North, Länsi = West, Keskusta = Centre, Itä = East, Etelä = South
