Exceptional summer 2024 opening hours for sports facilities

The sunny days of May have attracted a large crowd to the outdoor swimming pool to enjoy the warmth of summer.

Swimming pools are closed during the Midsummer weekend 21 June to 23 June. The outdoor swimming pool is open during Midsummer, on Friday 21 June from 7 am to 2 pm, 22 June from 1 pm to 8 pm and 23 June from 10 am to 6 pm.

The swimming pools will be closed in summer 2024 during maintenance breaks as follows: Hervanta swimming pool from 1 July to 4 August, Pyynikki swimming pool from 27 May to 9 June, Tesoma swimming pool from 15 June to 21 July and Tampere Swimming Centre from 17 June to 30 June. The renovation of the 50-metre pool at the Swimming Centre will start on 17 June and the pool will be closed until the beginning of August.

Outdoor sports facilities will be closed from 21 June to 23 June. Any exceptions will be agreed separately and any training sessions on closed days will be diverted to unstaffed facilities.

Indoor sports facilities, such as the Kaukajärvi Leisure Centre, Nääshalli Sports Hall and Tesoma Sports Hall, will be open on Thursday 20 June from 7.30 am to 2.30 pm and closed on Midsummer from 21 June to 23 June. The renovation of the Hervanta Leisure Centre will start in June and the building will be closed during the renovation.

Sports Services’ facility reservations and customer service will be closed on 20 June at 2.30 pm.
