On Friday 1.11.2024 only the main library Metso and the self-service libraries are open
Staff training day 1.11.2024 and All Saints' Day 2.11.2024 will affect the opening hours of the libraries.
On Friday 1.11. most of the branches of Tampere City Library will be closed for a staff training day and mobile libraries will not be operating. Only the main library Metso is open from 9-17.
On All Saints' Day 2.11., libraries will be closed except for self-service libraries, and mobile libraries will not be operating.
You can visit your local library during its self-service opening hours, both on the eve of All Saints' Day and on All Saints' Day. You can also manage many library matters in the PIKI online library.
When libraries are closed, materials left in the return boxes will be returned the next day the library is open, when staff are present.
