Independence Day 2024 opening hours in libraries
Independence Day affects the opening hours of libraries.
On Independence Day Eve, Thursday 5 December, libraries will close at 17.00 at the latest, or at the normal closing time if earlier. Mobile libraries will stop running at 16.00.
On Independence Day 6.12. the libraries are closed and the mobile libraries are not running. With the exception of the Lielahti library, the self-service libraries will be open according to normal self-service opening hours also on 6 December.
