Opening hours for libraries in spring 2025

These opening hours are valid between 1.1.-31.5.2025. The renovation of Härmälä Library will be finished in spring 2025. Until then, Kuuselakeskus pick-up point will be open for picking up reservations and returning loans. More info about the opening of Härmälä library will be published later. Changes to the Friday opening hours of Koilliskeskus and Tesoma, as well as to the self-service opening hours of Kaukajärvi, are coming in spring 2025.

Independent use and self-service in libraries

During independent use hours, the library doors are open, but the libraries are for independent use. During self-service hours, the libraries are not staffed and the PIKI library card and pin code are needed to open the library doors.

Exceptional opening hours

Libraries are closed on public holidays. On the eve of a public holiday, libraries close at 17 at the latest or at the normal closing time if it's earlier. Mobile libraries stop running at 16.
