Tampere gets ready for UMK - check out the programme for the weekend of events
The pink UMK atmosphere takes over Tampere. Pink and purple lighting will decorate the city centre and a varied programme of events will keep the spirits high throughout the weekend.

On Saturday 8 February, from 11 am, the Tampere Calling! music container will entertain passers-by at Sori Square. DJs Juissi and Jykke will play the most popular UMK and Eurovision songs from 11 am to 1.30 pm, from 5 pm to 8.30 pm and from 11 pm to 12 pm. In addition, Sorin Square will be lit up in pink on the day of the event.
Museum Centre Vapriikki will get into the UMK mood already in the morning. The museum will dive into the world of music with guided tours of the Manserock exhibition on Saturday at 11 and 12. After the tours, from 1pm to 3 pm, there will be a pin workshop where you can make your own pin in the spirit.
Tampere will glow pink as the city's most famous buildings and places are illuminated in colours of the event. The illuminations will be visible during the hours of darkness from Thursday to Saturday 6-8 February 2025 and will be displayed on the Tammerkoski rapids lighting, the Hämeenkatu light curtains, the digital surfaces of the urban space and many other locations.

Pink can also be found in unexpected places such as trams, buses, company decorations and on famous Tampere statues such as the Hämeenkatu statues and the Moomin statue.
