Isokuusi daycare centre
Isokuusi daycare centre
The Isokuusi daycare centre is a daycare provider in touch with nature. We treat each child as an individual within their home area. The home area comprises several small groups in which children play and work together under the guidance of an adult. Sensitive treatment and communication skills are key to our work. The daycare centre is made up of four home areas, one for children under the age of three and three for children between the ages of two and five. The Isokuusi daycare centre is part of a larger early childhood education and care unit which also includes the Vuores daycare centre as well as the Vuores and Isokuusi school preschools.
Pre-school and primary education at the Isokuusi school are part of the Vuores school pathway.
Each school year, 2 pre-school groups are formed in the Isokuusi school building. The boundary of the school path is determined on the basis of the addresses of the pre-school pupils each year, with a maximum of 2 pre-school groups in the Isokuusi school area.
During the pre-school year, or before the pre-school year when the groups are full, new pre-school pupils will be placed in the Vuores school pre-school.
