Transportation for early childhood education and care

Necessary transportation may be arranged for a child attending daycare. Such transport will be granted based on the family’s application and the criteria set by the Committee for Child and Youth Services.

Apply for daycare transport using a separate transport application. An application concerning transport for the coming autumn should be left at the care provider location by no later than 30 April.

If the need for transport emerges during the administrative year, processing the application and arranging for transport will take a minimum of two weeks.

Transportation applications for early childhood education and care education

The guardian will discuss with the daycare centre staff whether the child meets the prerequisites for transport. If they do, the daycare centre will provide the guardian with a link to an online form to be filled.

No transportation to therapeutic services be provided by the early childhood education services. During school vacation time, transportation is provided as needed.
