Tampere Vocational College Tredu
Tredu offers flexible and individual study paths to a Basic Vocational Qualification, Further Qualification and Specialist Qualification. You can study on your own initiative, through an apprenticeship, or choose from a diverse range of study options for immigrants. There is also a wide range of short training courses. More than 9 000 adults study at Tredu every year.
The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region
The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region is a free adult education institution maintained by the City of Tampere. Course-based training is organised in Tampere and Ylöjärvi.
At the Adult Education Centre, you can study theoretical subjects, health promotion from wellbeing to physical activity, handicrafts, art and languages. There are basic education in visual arts, handicrafts, theatre art and literary art. It also organises cultural events, general-audience lectures and exhibitions, and offers personal guidance, support and advice for people with learning and reading difficulties.
Sara Hildén Academy organises visual arts courses for children, young people and adults.
Basic Education in the Arts
Tampere provides great opportunities to study and practise various forms of art. Here you can get basic education in dance, visual arts, music, theatre, crafts, literary art and circus art. The education is intended primarily for children and young people, but some educational institutions also provide it for adults.
