Renovation of the facade of Hervanta Library underway

The renovation of the facade of the Hervanta library building started in September 2024 and is expected to continue for about a year. The work started with repairs to the water roof and underground drains. The renovation will cause noise disturbance in the library.

The disabled parking spaces in front of the library building are currently out of use due to the renovation of the facade, and no replacement parking for customers can be arranged. Please take note of these changes when you come to the library.

We will inform you of the changes as the work progresses.

The Hervanta Library is located next to the busy DUO shopping centre. The library operates on the second floor of the building designed by Raili and Reima Pietilä with a bubbling fountain in centre stage.  

Hervanta Library has a versatile and multilingual collection. What’s special about the library is the Hervanta collection.  

You can come and read in the quiet reading room or book a piano room or exhibition space. And come check out the library's cultural and children’s events!  

Digital support from Hervanta Library 

The Hervanta library offers its customers access to equipment such as computers, multifunctional devices, scanners and digitisation equipment.
