Kuuselakeskus pick-up point open until March 2

Tampere City Library's pick-up point in the Kuuselakeskus in Härmälä (Nuolialantie 46) will be open until March 2 for collecting reservations and loan returns. The pick-up point is open Mon-Sun 8-18 and is self-service. 

In March, the pick-up point will be emptied and the library will prepare the opening of the Härmälä library. According to current information, the library will open in April. More information will be provided as soon as the opening date is confirmed. 

Kuuselakeskus will no longer be available for library reservation pick-ups after January. If you have reservations with their status as created or frozen, with a pick-up location at Kuuselakeskus, their pick-up location will be changed to the Main Library Metso on February 10. If you want to pick up your reservation from another library, you can change the pick-up location of your created reservation in the Profile section of the PIKI online library. 

Loans from Tampere City Library can be returned to any PIKI library. 

The mobile library bus stop on Talvitie in Härmälä will be in operation until the opening of the Härmälä library.

The Härmälä library is located on the ground floor of the Härmälä School. The facilities of the renovated library are accessible and adaptable.  

The library has something to loan for the whole family. You can read in the magazine room, or use a computer or All-In-One to print, copy and scan. The library has the Seutu Wireless wifi network. By logging in, you can use the library's e-services on your own device.

Self-service library open from morning to evening    

Härmälä Library is a self-service library that you can also use outside regular opening hours. During broad self-service opening hours, you can open the doors of the library with a PIKI library card and its ID number.  

The library does not have any staff during self-service hours but you can loan and return materials through self-service machines, use a computer, read magazines and even work or hold meetings in the library's premises.  

  • Return box open 24 hours a day. The box is emptied during library's service hours. When the library is closed, items left to the return box will be processed as returned on the next service opening day.
  • Visiting with dogs: short visits with a well-behaved dog are allowed. The owner must ensure that the dog does not have contact with other customers.
  • Elbow contact automation on doors.
