Library ambassadors

 Voluntary library ambassadors offer help and peer support in library matters.

You can ask library ambassadors for help and advice in library matters. Library ambassadors can help you, if you are unfamiliar with the Finnish library system or if your native language is not Finnish or Swedish.

You can ask the ambassadors, for example:

• What kind of services do libraries offer
• How to get a library card.

Meet library ambassadors

Library ambassadors are available to meet at the Main Library Metso in autumn 2024, once a month for two hours. Service hours will be published on this page later. 

The library ambassadors will offer service in Finnish, English, Arabic, Bengali, Turkish, Hindi and Dari. 

Free walk-in service.
