Tampere Adult Education Centre has been granted funding from the European Union and the Finnish National Agency for Education for the Erasmus+ project, enabling staff to participate in international mobility and training courses in EU countries. Staff mobilities contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization's quality, promoting international collaboration and employee well-being.

The objectives of the Erasmus+ Mobility Project for Tampere Adult Education Centre are:

  • Generating new ideas and impulses for lifelong learning
  • Developing the quality of work and networks
  • Internationalization and the development of international networks
  • Employee well-being

As the adult education centre, celebrating its 125th anniversary, participates in the Erasmus+ Mobility Project for the first time, 17 staff members will be sent to week-long European training courses. The results of the project will be visible to students through new course ideas and themes. The goal is to later seek accreditation and expand international activities, including student mobility.

The funding for the Erasmus+ Mobility Project has been granted for the period from June 1, 2023, to November 30, 2024.

The project is funded by the European Union.
