Futsal
Futsal is similar to football, but it is played in a smaller pitch and usually in a sports hall. In Futsal, two teams play against each other. Each team has five players on the pitch, or a goalkeeper and four others.
Compared to football, futsal is played in a significantly smaller pitch with a hard surface, traditionally on a parquet floor or, more recently, on plastic flooring. The ball used in futsal is smaller (size 4) and less bouncy compared to a football. The rules of football and futsal are similar, but there are also significant differences. The most important differences are the effective playing time in futsal, unlimited player substitutions, accumulated team fouls, and goal throws and side line kicks.
