Hervanta Leisure Centre

This versatile sports centre offers good opportunities for indoor exercise. It has a large arena for different ball games that is ideal for basketball, volleyball and indoor football. The stands have 500 seats. The Leisure Centre has well-equipped gyms intended for clubs and individual customers. The age limit in Tampere city gyms is 15 years.

Smaller spaces are available for ballet, boxing, dance and wrestling. The Centre has several meeting and training rooms with different levels of equipment. You can also spend your free time at the Centre working with clay, ceramics and weaving.

Hervanta Leisure Centre is ideal for different competitions and sports events at which audience seating and a large hall space are needed. A café with 40 seats and modern kitchen facilities can be rented separately.

To book facilities for events and competitions, submit a written application. Use the Timmi system to keep an eye on the booking situation and to apply for individual one-off time slots.

Hervanta Leisure Centre, which was designed by Reima and Raili Pietilä, was completed in August 1979.
