Pyynikki athletics field

Pyynikki athletics field is used in summer for athletics, football and American football. The field also serves as a venue for various competitions.

The sports field has

•  a grandstand
• an artificial turf field
•  a 350 m running track with 6 lanes
•  a 100 m running track
• three long jump areas

There are also toilets and changing rooms on the sports field.

Ice skating in winter

During the winter season, an ice skating rink is frozen on the field. It is freely accessible to skaters without rackets from 8 am to 9.30 pm daily, except during events.  

During the school year, the field is open to schoolchildren on weekdays before 4 pm.
