Entrance fees to swimming pools and Outdoor Swimming Pool

In the online shop of sports services, you can pay using the payment methods accepted by Paytrail Plc's payment service, such as online banking or credit card. Sports benefits are not accepted as a payment method in the online shop.

Single tickets

In the online shop you can buy single tickets for seniors, adults, young people and children. The ticket is a QR code that you exchange for a wristband at the swimming pool as a self-service. A pre-purchased single ticket must be used within 30 days of purchase.

Other tickets

You can buy a single ticket for the City of Tampere gyms: Nääshalli, Hervanta Leisure Centre, Kaukajärvi Leisure Centre and Tesoma Ice Rink. You can also buy a single ticket or a season ticket to the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.

You can pay at the swimming pools and Outdoor Swimming Oool cash desks using cash, the most common debit and credit cards and accepted sports benefits. Prices include VAT.

In the event of any problems (e.g. equipment failure or problems with bank connections), the sports services reserve the right not to accept any other payment method.

The Oudoor Swimming Pool ticket office is open when the café is open. At other times, tickets are sold at Tampere Swimming Centre.

You can use these sports benefits to pay for swimming pool, Outdoor Swimming Pool or gym fees:

• Tyky-voucher
• Liikunta- ja kulttuuriseteli

You can also pay only part of the fee with the sports benefit and the rest with another payment method. There is no refund for sports benefits.

The use of the travel card to pay for single tickets for swimming pools has expired on 31.1.2025. You can get a single ticket for the same price in the online shop.

The sale of special swimming cards has ended on 1 January, 2024. We recommend a season ticket for regular swimming.

Season ticket to Tampere swimming pools

The season ticket is valid for 360 days from the date of purchase at the Hervanta, Pyynikki and Tesoma swimming pools and the Tampere Swimming Centre. The season ticket does not allow access to the Tampere Outdoor Swimming Pool.

One visit per day

A season ticket entitles you to one visit per day. At least one swimming pool is open during the summer, but may be closed on public holidays. When the pool is closed in the event of force majeure, refunds will not be paid. In addition, unused time will not be exchanged for any other product.

Season ticket is personal

Be prepared to prove your identity at each visit. Verification will be indicated at the entrance gate by a red light, the text "prove your identity" and by blocking access to the gate. The wristband will be released for use at the ticket office of the swimming pool concerned after verification of identity. Before the identity check, the wristband is locked and cannot be used.

The season ticket is loaded onto the sports wristband

The season ticket is the same price for all user groups. The season ticket is loaded onto a sports wristband. If you do not already have a sports wristband, you will also pay the wristband fee. The wristband fee is non-refundable. One wristband can have one copy of the same seasonal product.

Refund for the period of inactivity

If the season ticket holder has been banned from sport (for at least 1/3 of the period of validity) on the basis of a medical certificate or other reliable evidence, he or she can apply for a refund, in which case the season ticket will be extended.

Season ticket to the Outdoor Swimming Pool

The season ticket is valid for one opening period of the Outdoor Swimming Pool. The season ticket does not allow access to the indoor swimming pools.

If you want to visit the Tampere Swimming Centre and the Outdoor Swimming Pool at the same time, buy a combined ticket from the Swimming Centre's cashier.

With a combined ticket you can use the changing rooms, pools and saunas of the Swimming Centre and the pools of the Oudoor Swimming Pool during the opening hours of the Swimming Centre. Access to and from the Outdoor Swimming Pool is only through the gate of the Swimming Centre. Please note that the Swimming Centre may close earlier than the Outdoor Swimming Pool. When the swimming pool closes, the right to swim in the outdoor pool also ends.

A season ticket for swimming pools or a free day swim for seniors does not allow you to enter the Oudoor Swimming Pool.

Keep your receipt carefully and take a photo of it. The information on the receipt will be needed if the wristband is lost or broken during the validity period.

The wristband has a 2-year technical warranty. If the wristband stops working during this period under normal use, you will receive a new wristband free of charge.

Replacement of a lost or broken wristband and recharging of unused items to a new wristband costs €25.00.
