- The season wristband is personal and entitles you to one visit per day.
- The season wristband is valid in all Tampere swimming pools (not in the outdoor pool).
- At least one swimming pool is open during the summer, but on public holidays the swimming pools may be closed.
- If you already have a series wristband, you can use up the swims loaded on the wristband, after which a season wristband can be loaded on the wristband, which will then become personal.
- If a personal season wristband is loaded onto a holder-specific serial wristband, the serial wristband will also become personal.
- If both a serial and a season wristband are loaded on the wristband, the first payment is made for the season wristband upon entry. The products on the series wristband can be used as a payment method for another visit to the swimming pool on the same day.
- You must be able to prove your identity when using the season wristband.
- When purchasing a season wristband, a wristband fee of 10 euros is charged, which is not refundable.
- If the holder of the season wristband has been banned from exercising based on a medical certificate or other reliable proof (at least 1/3 of the validity period of the season wristband), he or she can apply for a refund of the price of the wristband.
- When the pool is closed in the event of force majeure, refunds will not be paid. Unused time will also not be exchanged for another product.
Entrance fees to swimming pools
All swimming pools in Tampere have smart wristbands. When paying with a one-time payment, the wristband remains in the reader at the end of the boom when exiting. When purchasing a season or serial wristband, a non-refundable wristband fee will be charged. The serial bracelet can be loaded with different serial charges, e.g. swimming and gym, and can be additionally downloaded in the online store. The wristband comes with a 2-year technical warranty.
Entrance fees to swimming pools from 1 January 2024
You can pay the entrance fee to a swimming pool with cash, the most common bank and credit cards, a Tampere Regional Transport travel card and approved specific methods of payment. Prices include VAT. 10%.
Use of season wristband and free daytime swimming for over 65s to continue in 2025
The use of season wristband will continue at swimming pools in 2025. The new seasonal wristband is valid for 360 days and becomes effective from the moment of purchase. Sales of the season wristband will begin on 1 January 2025. Free daytime swimming for those aged 65 and over will also continue in swimming halls. The swimming time is on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm.
The value-added tax (VAT) will increase from the current 10 percent to 14 percent at the beginning of 2025, and accordingly, VAT-inclusive fees will rise.

The use of the travel card as a means of payment in the Sports Services of the City of Tampere will end on 31 January 2025. A new, similarly priced payment method, a QR-coded single fee ticket, has already been introduced. It can be purchased from the online sports shop at liikunnanverkkokauppa.tampere.fi.
You can buy a QR-coded single fee ticket both for swimming pools and gyms run by the city (excluding Tampere Swimming Centre gym). Other familiar single fee payment methods are still valid, for example, you can still buy admission to a swimming session with a single fee payment at the ticket sales.

Payment with a Tampere Regional Transport travel card
When paying with a personal travel card, the age classification of Tampere Regional Transport is followed. If you change price groups, you must visit the Tampere Regional Transport customer service point to carry out the switch.
