Public transport

Nysse, the public transport service for the Tampere urban area, is run through cooperation between the following eight municipalities: Kangasala, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Tampere, Vesilahti and Ylöjärvi. 

In the Tampere region, public transport services, scheduling and route planning are the responsibility of the public transport service Nysse. Information on timetables, routes, ticket prices and payment methods concerning the buses and trams operating in the region can be found on the Nysse website.
