Teisko's Kämppi

The Kämmenniemi welfare centre is called Teisko's Kämppi. The area has a library and a youth centre, as well as a dental clinic, a maternity and child health clinic and a Fimlab laboratory. Social and health services are located in Linnainmaa, near the Koilliskeskus.

Library

The Kämmenniemi library is located at the Kämmenniemi school. The library has extensive opening hours, as it operates as a self-service library in addition to the traditional library. During the self-service hours, the doors of the library are opened with the PIKI library card and its ID number.

Youth Centre

The Kämmenniemi Youth Centre offers activities for both young (3rd-6th graders) and old (7th graders to 17 year olds).

Service Kiosk

The Kämmenniemi Library has a service kiosk where you can get help with everyday problems. Check the service kiosk's offerings and timetables on the library's notice board or in the Tampere events calendar.

Social and health services

Social and health services for Tampere residents are organised by the The Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa. Health and social services for people living in northern Tampere are located in Linnainmaa, near the Koilliskeskus. The dental clinic, maternity and child health clinic and Fimlab laboratory are located in Kämmenniemi.

Reservable spaces

The Kämmenniemi library and school have rooms that can be reserved for meetings, for example by associations. The library has a display case that can be reserved for small exhibitions.

Public transport

The services of Teisko's Kämppi can be reached by buses 90, 92, 93 and 94, as well as the service bus Pali Teisko, which runs in the Teisko-Aitolahti area.
