Summer and park meal are approaching! This summer the city of Tampere and youth services are organising a park meal in seven different parks. The locations of the parks are still being finalised, but the areas are

The park meal offers children and young people under 18 years a programme and free lunch from Monday to Thursday 2.6.-17.7.2025. The food is prepared by Pirkanmaa Voimia.
The park meal is a collaboration. Now you can let us know your interest to participate in the park meal as a community, organisation, company or individual.
Do you want to participate in a park meal?
You can use the following forms to register your interest in participating in a park meal. The first form is for communities, associations and companies. The second form is for individuals. All will be contacted by the Youth Services.
The park meal
The City of Tampere has been organising park meals for children and young people since 2021, the first park meal area was at Peltolammi. The following summer, the park meal was available in four areas, Peltolammi, Tesoma, Hervanta and Kaukajärvi. In 2023, Lielahti was added as a new area and in 2024 Nekala. In 2025, the new area will be Linnainmaa.
