Thank you for summer 2025
The City of Tampere and Youth Services would like to thank everyone who participated in the park meals!
The summer 2025 park meals were organized by the City of Tampere and several partners. Alongside the city, the main organizers were TampereMissio in Kaukajärvi, SPR Tampere in Tesoma, and Kansalaistalo Mansikkapaikka in Lielahti. In addition, many organizations, city actors, and private individuals contributed to the program and helped with food distribution.

The park meal
The City of Tampere has been organising park meals for children and young people since 2021, the first park meal area was at Peltolammi. The following summer, the park meal was available in four areas, Peltolammi, Tesoma, Hervanta and Kaukajärvi. In 2023, Lielahti was added as a new area and in 2024 Nekala, and in 2025 Linnainmaa.
