LGBTIQ+ youth work

Those interested in LGBTIQ+ themes or in need of a chat on such topics can contact the specialised youth workers in LGBTIQ+ youth work within Tampere youth services. 

Whoever can contact the specialised youth workers: young people, the families of young people, or professionals. Contact information can be found on the bottom of the page. 

The LGBTIQ+ Youth work in Tampere youth services aims to promote equality and non-discrimination. Our target group is young people between the ages of 13-29. 

Kaareva

LGBTIQ+ Youth centre Kaareva takes place in Tampuri (Finnish Red Cross’ meeting space). The address is Otavalankatu 12. Kaareva is open for young people over the age of 13 interested in LGBTIQ+ themes. 

We are committed to making Kaareva a safer space. We apply the Tampere youth services’ guidelines for safer spaces.
