The official election day for the Parliamentary Elections will be on Sunday 2 April 2023. On election day, each person entitled to vote may only vote at his or her own polling station, which is indicated in the notice on the right to vote sent to each person who is entitled to vote. Tampere has a total of 68 voting areas.
Every Finnish citizen who has turned 18 years old no later than on election day is entitled to vote in parliamentary elections. To vote, you need an official ID.
Changes to polling stations
- The previous polling station for voting area 6 (Pyynikki) was Tipotie social and health station. It will now be replaced by Tampereen lyseon upper secondary school at Lyseokatu 6. Enter the polling station via the courtyard.
- The previous polling station for voting area 14 (Saukonpuisto) was at Saukonpuisto school building. It will now be replaced by the Teiskontie school building, Sampo school, at Kaupinkatu 27.
- The previous polling station for voting area 17 (Järvensivu) was at the Järvensivu school house. It will now be replaced by the Sairaalankatu school house, Sampo school, at Sairaalankatu 6.
- The polling station for voting area 25 (Multisilta) is located in the premises of the new Multisilta day-care centre at Teräväkatu 2. The previous polling station for voting areas 26 and 27 (Härmälä A and Härmälä B) was at Härmälä school building. It will now be replaced by the Talvitie day-care centre and school building, Hatanpää school at Talvitie 24.
- The previous polling station for voting area 28 (Pispala) was at the Hyhky school house. It will now be replaced by Pispala school at Pispalanharju 47. The polling station for the Pispala voting area has returned to Pispala school.
Do not write or draw anything else on the ballot paper in addition to the candidate's number.
