Tampere citizens’ evening at Lielahti School on Monday 2.12. with the Mayor, deputy Mayors and Chairman of the City Council

Mayor Kalervo Kummola and Chairman of the City Council Ilmari Nurminen invite the citizens of Tampere to spend the evening and discuss current topics on Monday 2 December 2024 at 17:30 at the Lielahti School. The Mayor and the Chairman of the City Council will present current topics, answer questions, and participate in discussions.

The event will be held at the Lielahti School, Building A (Lielahdenkatu 14) starting at 17:30.  The event will last 1.5 hours. In addition to Ilmari Nurminen, Chairman of the City Council, and Kalervo Kummola, Mayor of Tampere, the Deputy Mayors Matti Helimo and Jouni Markkanen will be present to discuss current topics and answer questions from residents. The event will follow the principles for a safer space.

The event is open to every citizen interested. The crowd will have the opportunity to ask topical questions about the city and its activities in Finnish and in English. Questions can also be submitted in advance using the online form until Thursday 28 November 2024. The questions on the form will be discussed at the event, if possible, in the time available.

The event will also be streamed on the Tampere Channel. Coffee will be served to the first 70 participants.
