Open doors at the city's swimming pools and gyms on Tampere Day 1 October
The Tampere City Sports Services will participate in the celebration of Tampere's anniversary by offering free access to the city's swimming pools and gyms.
To celebrate Tampere Day, on Sunday 1 October, residents will have free access to all swimming pools, as well as the outdoor pools at the Tampere Swimming Centre. On Sunday, there will also be free access to the city's gyms.
The Open Doors sports event is an opportunity for all citizens to experience the joy of exercise. It is also a response to President Sauli Niinistö's challenge to encourage Finns to exercise during his birthday week in August.
