Peace Seminar in Tampere on the United Nations Day
A Peace Seminar and peace walk will be held in Tampere on the United Nations Day 24.10.2024. The event will include the Forum for Cooperation of Religions in Finland working in Tampere and the City of Tampere Immigration Council.
The Tampere Peace Seminar will take place on Thursday 24.10.2024 starting at 17:00. A peace walk will take place before the seminar.
The Seminar and peace walk will foster the vision of a united city of equality, peace and harmony for all, regardless of religion, culture or other individual characteristics. All friends of equality and diversity are warmly welcome to join us.
The Peace Seminar will be organised by the Forum for Cooperation of Religions in Finland (CORE Forum) working in Tampere, the City of Tampere Immigration Council, the City of Tampere Education Services. The list of partners will be updated.
The seminar programme, speakers, venue, peace walk route and registration will be published later. The event can accommodate approximately 150 participants.
The seminar will be held in Finnish and English. The seminar can also be attended remotely.
The event will follow the city's principles for safer space.
