The popular Tampere Residents' Evenings continue – two more events coming in December

The Tampere Residents' Evenings will continue in December with two more events. On 2 December 2024, there will be a Residents' Evening in Lielahti, where participants can discuss current issues in the city with the Mayor and the Chair of the City Council. The autumn season will end on 9 December 2024 with an English-language evening at G Livelab. The events are open to all.

Tampere Residents' Evenings are events for everyone in Tampere. During the evenings, participants can enjoy themselves, make a difference and network. The events take place several times a year in different parts of the city.

– The most important thing about Tampere Residents' Evenings is the opportunity for inhabitants to be heard and have their say on current issues in the city, says Regional Coordinator Jarno Koskinen.

The evenings often include music or other cultural activities. Associations, projects and other similar bodies active in the neighbourhoods can come to the regional evenings to present their activities.

– This autumn, there have already been four evenings for Tampere residents, which have been very popular. At best, up to 300 people have attended, says Regional Coordinator Koskinen.

The Tampere Residents' Evenings will continue in December, with two more events open to all.
