Join us in organising anti-racist events

The City of Tampere is a Tampere for all, where racism and discrimination are not tolerated. During the Anti-Racism Week, associations, communities, businesses and residents in Tampere can show their commitment and support for equality by organising, for example, community events where different people can come together.

– To peacefully co-exist together in our diverse society, we need more occasions and events to foster dialogue, mutual understanding and empathy, states Ilaria Tucci, Project Planner for the Tampere Welcoming City Development Program.

– We apologise for the late notice. We hope that as many people as possible will still join us. Fighting racism and promoting equality is our shared responsibility, says Mikko Ala-Kapee, Non-Discrimination Coordinator from the City of Tampere.
