Roma Day is celebrated on April 8 – come and learn about Roma work and culture
All those interested in Roma culture are welcome to the celebration of Roma National Day, which will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 17:00 to 19:30 at the City Development and Planning Presentation Space Siluetti. The venue is located in the bus station building at Hatanpään valtatie 7.
The celebration will feature several Roma music performances and updates from various Roma communities. The event will also showcase the work of Setlementti Tampere with the Roma community and a new Roma youth work project initiated by the city's Youth Services.
The hosts of the program are Mirikli Långström and Leif Hedman.
Coffee will be served at the event. The event will adhere to safer space principles.

The celebration is organized by Setlementti Tampere's Roma work, actors from the Roma community in Tampere, and the City of Tampere.
