Draw Night Bugs at Rulla's Drawing Competition!

What bugs might be seen in the night garden? Are they huge or tiny? Or perhaps one-legged and multi-winged? Come draw your own bug in the joint drawing competition by the Children's Cultural Centre Rulla and the WeGenerate project! The competition is open in Rulla's Art room from April 16th to 27th, 2025 during opening hours.

In the joint drawing competition by Rulla and the WeGenerate project, we are looking for children´s art to be illuminated in the Kirjastonpuisto Park and Laikunlava area. The drawings will be selected by a jury, and prizes will be raffled among the creators. The selected drawings will be announced on during May. The illuminated drawings will be displayed as part of Tampere's Festival of Light in October 2025. The competition is open to children of all ages.

The drawing competition promotes children's right to art, encourages participation, and fosters creativity. The selected works will also be part of the Children's Gallery of Tampere's children's culture, which brings children's art into the cityscape.

The competition is part of Rulla's 20th-anniversary program. Come celebrate with us!
