Tampere City Basic Education organizes summer club activities for 1st and 2nd grade students as well as students with special needs.
The summer clubs operate centrally at nine schools from June 2 to June 27, 2025. The daily activity time is from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (except for the Midsummer week, when activities are organized from Monday to Thursday).
The application period for summer clubs starts on April 22, 2025 and ends on May 6, 2025.
Applications for summer clubs organized by basic education are made in the Wilma system.

The fee for summer activities is 80€ per week. The fee is charged for the weeks marked in the registration. Reserved weeks can be changed after the registration period until a certain date. After this, the fee is binding.
You can apply for a fee waiver for summer activities. Summer activities are automatically free of charge if the morning and afternoon activities for schoolchildren have been free of charge during the 2024–2025 school year.
Students who have a special care program (EHO) under the Developmental Disabilities Act, a necessary need due to parents' employment or other reasons, and an individual service decision made by disability services with payment commitments for holiday care can apply for emergency summer activities at Puistokoulu in Vuores in addition to the summer club. Emergency activities are organized on a limited basis at the turn of July-August before the start of the autumn semester. The dates for emergency care in summer 2025 are from July 21 to August 1, 2025.
Students who complete basic education in the spring of 2025 have the right to participate in summer activities until July 31, 2025.
There is no fee for summer activities for children and young people with developmental disabilities up to the age of 16.
