If you have a great idea, a solid concept or an existing event, Tampere Event Services will offer you advice and support free of charge.

Tampere Event Services can help you:

• find the right venue
• figure out what permits and licences you need
• use effective and affordable marketing channels
• organize a clean and safe event
• plan your budget and gain a wide audience
• If you are organizing or bidding to organize an international congress or meeting in Tampere, please contact Tampere Convention Bureau.

If you want to organize your event in a public area, for example a park, square, or market place, you need a land use permit from the city's property management unit. Sports venues, including Tampere stadium, are operated by city sports services. Street use permits are granted by the City of Tampere’s Planning Services department. Open air stages in the city's parks are operated by the city cultural services.

The permits needed depend on the event in question; usually you'll need at least a permission to use the event venue, a notice of public event to the police, safety and emergency plans, and a waste management plan. Separate licences, permits or plans are needed if you are going to for example play music, or serve food or alcohol.
