Hobby room Visio

Hobby room Visio is located in the Main library Metso. In Visio, you can work independently on a variety of graphic and visual works. In Visio, there is a media workstation with a powerful computer as well as an all-in-one printer you can use to print images on poster or photo paper, sticker sheets or heat transfer materials pressed on textiles, among other things. Visio also has a machine for making button badges, a heat press and a laminating machine. 

How to use Visio

1. Book the device in the reservation system, from Music department's info, by phone 040 806 4918 or via email [email protected]. All-in-one printer and media workstation can be reserved for four hours a day. Reservations can be made up to eight days in advance and you can have a maximum of three reservations.
2. Read the rules of use.
3. Show your library card at the music department's info and you will be let in Visio. Your reservation will expire if you are more that 10 minutes late.

Instructions and help

There are instruction videos for Visio's device. Videos are in Finnish. Insturctions can also be found on paper in Visio.

In case of problems you can contact our AV support team [email protected]. They can give instructions via email or make an appoinment if necessary.

We will help with technical problems where possible. Please note that staff familiar with the equipment may not be present at all times.

In addition, Visio offers customers scissors, a carpet knife, a putty knife for sticker materials, clipping tools and tweezers for heat transfer materials, and a paper cutter for cutting posters, for example.

The customer is responsible for the quality and resolution of the image they print. A material fee will also be charged for failed prints.
