City archive
The city archive is closed from 8 to 21 July 2024. Requests received during the summer closure will be answered from July 22.
The City Archive serves as the archive for City of Tampere documents that are stored permanently and as an archive of the home region.
The City Archive provides residents and researchers with approximately six shelf kilometres of documents concerning Tampere. The majority of the collections consists of archives by municipal authorities, but associations and private individuals in Tampere have also delivered documents to the archive.
