We strengthen the mental well-being of children and young people in Tampere and promote the conditions for it in everyday encounters and environments, for example through:
- Reducing the atmosphere of performance-orientedness by raising the awareness of self-compassion and ways of maintaining a good mood.
- Increasing mental health skills, e.g. by using the training and activities of the MIELI Mental Health Finland Good Minds Toolkit.
- Promoting and communicating the possibilities of leisure activities so that everyone can find their own hobby.
- Strengthening adults' skills in meeting young people and guiding them to meet each other.
