Rellu etiquette
Let’s take other people into account
- Greet your fellow students and the staff.
- Behave politely in the school canteen – speak calmly and thank the kitchen staff.
Let’s ensure a working atmosphere during lessons
- Arrive on time.
- Use electronic devices for study purposes only.
- Phone ban during lessons
- Phones are kept out of sight in bags – not on desks. Only use your phone during lessons if it is required by the teacher.
- Using a phone without permission is interpreted as classroom disruption (Upper Secondary School Act)
- If the student continues to disrupt lessons in this manner, the teacher will ask the student to leave the classroom, marks the student as absent in Wilma and provides an explanation of the incident. These incidents usually involve gaming, social media use, and other situations where the teacher is required to intervene due to inappropriate use of phones or laptops.
- Phone ban during lessons
- During exams place all electronic devices in your bag and leave it at the front of the classroom or in a place indicated by the teacher.
- Use the breaks for eating and visiting the toilet.
Let’s respect other people at school events and parties
- Dress up and behave appropriately for events.
- Concentrate on the performer instead of your cell phone.
- Listen quietly and save your own discussions for after the event.
- Respect those who have organised the event by also remaining quiet between performances.
Let’s take care of tidiness and safety at Rellu
- Leave tables tidy and return dishes to the appropriate place in the school canteen.
- Leave outdoor clothing and bags outside the school canteen.
- Don’t block corridors and entrances.
- All vehicles should be parked in the appropriate places and emergency routes must be left open. Unfortunately, there is no parking space in the school yard for students’ cars or moped cars
- The use of tobacco products and any intoxicants in the school area is forbidden.
Let’s use breaks to refresh ourselves
- The lift is reserved for staff and those who are injured or physically disabled.
- Use equipment which is reserved for break times, such as the table tennis table and other games, actively and responsibly.
- Let’s take care, that no one is left alone, and let’s make friends with an open-mind!
Let’s also make the spirit of Rellu visible outside of our school!
