Recruitment support
Recruitment support is granted to employers who employ Tampere citizen, who is an unemployed job seeker. The support is intended for covering the recruitment, work space, work uniform, briefing and guidance costs related to employing a new worker, but not for covering salary expenses.
Recruitment support is granted according to an allowance. The recruitment support of 600 €/month/employee is paid for a maximum of six months. The benefit may be paid for the entire duration of an apprenticeship, provided all other conditions are met.
Recruitment support is only granted for a new employment relationship. Recruitment support must be applied for within two months of the commencement of the employment relationship.
The support may be granted, if one of the following criteria is met:
- the person to be employed has received labour market support for a minimum of 200 days or
- the person to be employed is a qualified, unemployed person under 30 years of age, who is being employed in a job related to their qualification or
- the person to be employed is an unemployed, unqualified young person under 25 years of age and they are hired as an apprentice or
- the person to be employed is an unemployed immigrant, whose Finnish language skills are lacking
Recruitment bonus
Apart from a recruitment support, companies can also apply for a one-time payment of a recruitment bonus of 1800 euros, if the employment relationship lasts for a minimum of one year and a minimum of 85% of full-time working hours. The period of validity of the employment relationship can be calculated to have begun from the time the recruitment benefit was first paid.
