Awards rewarded by the city
Each year, the City of Tampere grants awards to individuals who have gained merit in different fields. The awards are granted by a panel or a separately appointed committee in accordance with specific principles applied to each award.

Who will be Volunteer of the Year and Adult of the Year?
This year, the theme of the Volunteer of the Year award is the promotion of physical activity. The theme for the Adult of the Year is supporting children and young people's mental health and substance abuse prevention.
Winners will be announced in November 2024.
