District program in Haihara
A district program is underway in Kaukajärvi and Annala from 2023 to 2025, where the area is being developed together with residents and stakeholders. The development of the Haihara Art Centre is based on the wishes of city residents and stakeholders to make Haihara an even more splendid gem of the area and a communal place.
Wishes were collected through resident surveys and events, as well as several workshops around the Kaukajärvi and Annala areas. Ideas ranged from various yard games to outdoor movies and from wellness days to multicultural food events. This fall, Public Cultural Services and local stakeholders will organize new events at the Haihara Art Centre based on the ideas of residents and stakeholders.
