Summer Park Concerts brighten the summer

The Summer Park Concerts will once again bring a refreshing mix of music to the Tampere summer when the concerts start in early June. This year, the concerts return to Hervanta and the Thursday nights at Laikunlava stage will once again feature dance performances. This summer's line-up is very diverse and will feature music ranging from pop to folk and electro to metal. Admission to all Summer Park Concerts is free.

Radical Ninja will perform on Thursday, June 20th at Muusan aukio In Hervanta.

The Summer Park Concerts will offer an exciting programme for all tastes, as culture lovers can once again enjoy performances by new bands and artists in various event locations. Returning to Hervanta's Muusan aukio (Lindforsinkatu 1), the band nights will feature music from young musicians in particular. Concerts at Muusan aukio will feature lighter rock and power pop, but also harder metal music. The Summer Park Concerts take place in Muusan aukio every Thursday evening in June from 18-20 o'clock and are organized in cooperation with the City of Tampere Youth Services.

Dance performances will return to Thursday evenings at Laikunlava stage (Puutarhakatu 1). There will be a wide variety of dance performances, from spectacular renaissance and early baroque pattern dances to cross-artistic pole dance and harmonious cello co-choreography. After the dance performances, the dance evenings will continue at 19:00 with summer open to all summer salsas, organised by Azúcar - Tampere Salsa Association.

All Summer Park Concerts are free open-air concerts. In addition to Muusan aukio and Laikunlava stage, they will take place in several locations around Tampere, such as the Haihara Art Centre, the Amuri Museum of historic housing and the allotment gardens. The park concerts are produced by Tampere Public Cultural Services.
