The new courses at the Adult Education Centre have been published – registration begins online on August 1, 2024

The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region's autumn 2024 courses have been published online on the registration website. Over a thousand courses offer study and hobby opportunities for all ages in theoretical subjects, arts, handicrafts, health promotion, and languages.

Registration for the autumn 2024 courses at the Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region begins online on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The Adult Education Centre has published the autumn 2024 courses on the registration website on June 14, 2024, so customers can familiarize themselves with the course offerings and details well in advance.

As in previous years, the selection includes both full-year courses and single-semester courses, as well as short courses ranging from one day or weekend to several sessions.

The printed course guide will be distributed to homes in Tampere and Ylöjärvi as advertising material starting Wednesday, July 24, 2024. After that, it can also be picked up from local libraries. Detailed course descriptions, meeting times, and locations are visible on the registration website.

The Adult Education Centre recommends registering for courses online, but registration by phone and in-person at offices is also possible starting August 14, 2024, at 12:00 PM.

The centre’s office will be closed from June 20, 2024, to August 12, 2024. However, support for online registration will be available in Sampola, Tampere, on Monday, August 5, 2024, and Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region is Finland’s first and one of the largest adult education centres, with over 15,000 students annually, totaling over 30,000 course participants across approximately 2,000 courses. The centre records over 185,000 visits annually.
