Puistofiesta fills Hämeenpuisto boulevard with live music and hobby experiments
The outdoor family event Puistofiesta – Activities at Hämeenpuisto boulevard will take place on Sunday 4 August 2024 from 11 am to 4 pm. The event will feature more than 90 different activity stands offering experiences and activities for visitors of all ages, as well as a varied programme on stage. Admission to the event is free. We recommend coming by public transport or on foot.
On Sunday, Hämeenpuisto will host a number of activity stands where visitors can try out different sports and hobbies. For example, you can try out dance and martial arts, enter the world of improvisation and take part in a guitar playing workshop. There will also be games, raffles and quizzes, the chance to meet a mermaid and try your hand at hobby horsing. The activities will be organised by various companies, associations and the city organisations.
- Puistofiesta will once again bring a wide range of activities, hobbies and fun shows to Hämeenpuisto. It's great to see that Tampere's associations and companies have once again come in large numbers to showcase their activities, says Matilda Salminen, event producer for the City of Tampere.
The event culminates in a varied stage programme. The Puistofiesta stage will host Tampere pop singer Jenni Mustajärvi, Pikku Kakkonen's Pikkuli's song show, the Dominutz choir, the Uniao Da Roseira samba school and the Tampere Ukulele Orchestra. The event will also get into the circus spirit with circus performer Simon Llewellyn. The programme will be presented by Simo Frangén. The stage will be located in the central square of Hämeenpuisto boulevard, next to the Metso Library.
