The Tampereen päivä – Tampere Day programme fills the city with open doors, culture, guided tours and attractive offers. All the public events taking place during the event weekend from 27 to 29 September are welcome to take part in Tampereen päivä.
The anniversary weekend is hoped to provide a diverse and memorable experience that will delight the citizens. You can open the doors of your business or association, entertain visitors with shows or guided tours, or offer hobby experiments. The style is free. The most important thing is to be part of the festive spirit.
The City of Tampere also traditionally organises programme for Tampere Day. This year, for example, visitors can enjoy the Culture District organised by the City of Tampere and the western part of the city centre. The Culture District combines several cultural sites, a unique urban landscape and a wide range of services in the area and along various routes. A digital map of the Cultural District will give visitors to the event an insight into the area's history, architecture and environment.
