Discover Tampere's Culture District on guided tours

On Tampere Day, visitors are invited to discover the creative heart of the western city centre with the new Culture District application and guided tours. Along the routes, visitors can explore the area's history, architecture and environment using a digital map application. To celebrate Tampere Day, the Culture District will also offer free guided tours in English on Sunday 29 September.

The Culture District is a project of the City of Tampere and the operators of the Western City Centre that brings together the attractions and services of the area in a series of ready-made itineraries. The routes can be found on the Culture District's digital map application, from which visitors can choose the most interesting ones. The map also makes it easy to explore the Cultural District on your own.

Guided tours on Tampere Day

The Culture District will be launched on 27-29 September 2024 in connection with Tampere Day, when guided tours of the routes in the area will be available in addition to the digital guides. Two of the tours will be in English. The number of participants is limited, so places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
