All market stalls and cafés are open daily from 11 am to 7 pm from 30 November to 22 December and the Glogg Restaurant is open from 11am to 8pm. The Christmas Market is also partially open from 23 to 29 November. For the first time this year, the Glogg Restaurant will also be open on Christmas Eve, 23 December from 11am to 8pm and on Christmas Eve, 24 December from 11am to 3pm.
Christmas Market opening hours
- 23-24 November: The Doughnut Café and some of the stalls open from 11 am to 7 pm, the Glogg Restaurant is open from 11 am to 8 pm.
- 25-26 November: The Bubble Waffle Restaurant open from 11 am to 7 pm.
- 27-29 November: The Bubble Waffle Restaurant and the Doughnut Cafe open from 11 am to 7 pm, 19, the Glogg Restaurant open from 11 am to 8 pm.
- From 30 November to 22 December: All the stalls and cafés open from 11 am to 7 pm, the Glogg Restaurant open from 11 am to 8 pm.

The Christmas Market is growing again with dozens of new stalls. As usual, the stalls sell authentic Finnish handicrafts, unique Christmas gifts and festive treats. You can also get into the Christmas spirit at the cafés and restaurants.

The market is also open on 6 December, Independence Day, when visitors can admire the stunning light displays. The buildings around Keskustori Central Square will be illuminated with winter light installations from Independence Day.
The Christmas Opening on 23 November
Tampere's traditional Christmas Opening will take place on Saturday 23 November in the Central Square Keskustori. The event starts at 4 pm with a Christmas parade in front of the Metso Main Library. The parade will pass through Hämeenpuisto towards Puutarhakatu and finally arrive at the Central Square. The festivities continue in the central square with choir singing and a performance by the Sori Circus. At the end of the event, the festive lights of the Christmas tree will be switched on. The event is organised by the Tampere Tunnetuksi Ry.
The Christmas Market’s opening ceremony will take place on Saturdat 30 November at 5 pm. The event features singer Lauri Mikkola and the Kuutar vocal group. Santa Claus himself will also be at the event.
