Event registration for the Children’s Pirkkaset 2025 Cultural Month is opening
Children's Pirkkaset Cultural Month is a joint children's cultural festival of the municipalities of Pirkanmaa, held annually in February. We invite everyone to participate in organizing events as part of the celebration. You can register your event from December 2 to December 31, 2024.
Events for Children's Pirkkaset can be aimed at children aged 0–12 and their families. These can include large or small performances, family days, workshops, courses, and exhibitions. Events registered by the deadline will be included in the February program of Pirkkaset, which will be published on January 13, 2025, on the website www.lastenpirkkaset.fi. Participation in the month's program is free of charge. Welcome to join! Feel free to share this invitation.
The theme for 2025 is participation. The theme encourages active participation, play, and creativity, and emphasizes the importance of being seen and heard. The selected traveling workshop is Biisinikkarit workshop by the Cultural cooperative Uulu.
How to Register Your Event for Children's Pirkkaset:
1. Log in to the Tampere event calendar at tapahtumat.tampere.fi and create a free user account.
2. Create a profile for the organizing organization. Note: If you know that your organization already has a profile, ask the administrator to add you as an administrator to the same profile.
3. Select "Add" and "Create Event" from the top right corner.
4. Enter your event details in Finnish. Also enter the details in English if possible.
5. Add the tag #LastenPirkkaset to your event. Note: If this tag is not added, the event will not be included in the Children's Pirkkaset program.
6. Publish your event.
