Presentation of the Rahola daycare centre

Operation idea

Our operation idea is to provide children with a wide range of experiences and learning opportunities in a safe and creative environment for growing and learning. Through play and emotional experiences, children are encouraged to experiment, explore and participate. Our aim is to create a good and tolerant environment together with children, parents and staff.

Start of the day care day

The day starts in the Pukinparrat group, and the children move to their own groups by breakfast at the latest. The child is registered as present via the eVaka system. At pick-up times, we say goodbye and the child is signed out.

Breakfast is served between 8.00 and 8.30.

Food must be ordered the day before by 13.30 from Pirkanmaan Voimia. If your child will be absent from the daycare, please inform the group immediately by phone or text message. In case of allergies, please send a doctor's certificate directly to our kitchen.

Activities

Our activities are varied and based on the National and City of Tampere Early Childhood Education Plan. Groups develop their own pedagogical plans. An early childhood education plan is drawn up for each child together with the parents. Get involved and brainstorm together with the child and staff!

Activities, events and changes are announced via the eVaka system and on the notice boards of the groups. Various enquiries, e.g. about the child's care needs during holidays and closing times, are also made electronically via the eVaka system.

Observation

Equip your child with indoor shoes or boots. It is also a good idea to have a small change of clothes in the child's locker. We're going out in all weathers, so make sure you remember to dress for changing weather conditions. Rainwear should be washed at home after use. Every other Friday, the children's lockers are emptied for cleaning, so items are taken home for the weekend. The well-being of everyone in the nursery is important to us. This includes the cleanliness and comfort of our common environment.
