Nahkatehdas Daycare Centre

The Nahkatehdas Daycare Centre provides early childhood education for children aged 1-5 years. We have three groups of children, all of which are sibling groups for children aged 1-5. In our early childhood education, we attach great importance to a sensitive approach to children, good basic care, learning to make friends, a sense of community and, of course, play. Our educators know that play is important for children and that play also has a pedagogical value. Play can teach you anything. It is important to us that the child enjoys the day care centre, builds a trusting relationship with the staff and feels safe. Nature is right next to the daycare centre, which makes it possible to go hiking (e.g. Lake Tohloppi, Laivapuisto, Epilänharju). The landmark of the daycare centre is the chimney of the old leather factory.

The daycare centre will operate in temporary premises at the Länsi-Tesoma daycare centre from 5.8.2024-31.7.2025. The address is Virontörmänkatu 9, 33310 Tampere.
