Come and experience the Arboretum in winter event on Sunday 18 February 2024

Welcome to the winter event at Hatanpää Park Arboretum! Gift yourself with experiences in Tampere's most beautiful urban park on Sunday 18 February 2024 from noon to 3 pm.

The programme: 

  • A heartfelt path where you can identify plants in their winter apparel. 
  • Dog friends with you.
  • Sledding and skating weather permitting: take your own sliders, sleds and skates.

Changes to the programme are possible and the programme will be specified.

If you wish, you can participate in the production of the programme by offering, for example, non-stop winter pants yoga or some other fun free-of-charge programme.

There is an information point in front of the manor.

It is a good idea to visit the event on foot or by public transport. The Arboretum can be reached by Nysse No 15A, No 15B and No 13. The nearest stop is Hatanpään sairaala.

The event is organised by a group of volunteers, Arboretumin ystävät (friends of Hatanpää Park Arboretum).

Arboretumin ystävät welcomes new volunteers

The Arboretumin ystävät group welcomes new participants to join in.  Arboretumin ystävät is a group of Tampere volunteers who work guided in Hatanpää Manor and Arboretum, for example by carrying out garden work and organising volunteer work and events. The open operation for all interested parties was launched in autumn 2023. Hatanpään ystävät communicate about events in the Tampere event calendar and on Facebook.
