Join the fun at Puistofiesta on 4 August - with hobby experiments and a varied programme

Puistofiesta, the outdoor event for the whole family, is back in Hämeenpuisto boulevard. The traditional Puistofiesta will take place on Sunday 4 August 2024 from 11 am to 4 pm. The event will feature more than 90 different activity stands, offering experiences and activities for visitors of all ages. The free event will also feature a varied programme on stage. We recommend arriving by public transport or on foot.

At Puistofiesta, Hämeenpuisto boulevard will be filled with a variety of activity stands where visitors can try out different sports and hobbies. For example, you can try out cheerleading and athletics, learn about scouting and try your hand at handicrafts. There will also be games, raffles and quizzes, a chance to meet a mermaid and try hobby horsing. The activities are organised by various companies, associations and city operators. The event area stretches from Hallituskatu to Näsinpuisto.

The event culminates in a varied stage programme. The stage will feature pop singer Jenni Mustajärvi from Tampere, the Pikkuli's song-playing show, the singing group Dominutz, the samba school Uniao Da Roseira and the Tampere Ukulele Orchestra. Circus artist Simon Llewellyn will bring a fun circus atmosphere to the stage. The programme will be hosted by Simo Frangén. The stage will be located in the Hämeenpuisto central square, next to the Metso Library.
